Full Curriculum Design

End-to-end curriculum design from philosophy and graduate profile through unit-by-unit build, teacher guides, and pilot.

The problem it solves

You need a coherent curriculum built from first principles — not another patchwork of borrowed programs stitched together.

Why it matters

Curricula built strand-by-strand without an anchoring architecture produce coverage without coherence — students meet everything and remember little. A fully designed curriculum starts from what a graduate should know, do, and be, then builds backward with discipline.

Our approach

We work in phases: philosophy, graduate profile, standards and outcomes, architecture, unit build, assessment, and teacher preparation. Each phase closes with a decision review — no drift, no surprises.

What is included

Everything that makes the engagement land.

  • Curriculum philosophy and graduate profile
  • Standards mapping and outcomes framework
  • Whole-program architecture (phases, strands, threads)
  • Backward-designed units across grades and subjects
  • Teacher-ready lesson frameworks
  • Aligned assessment blueprint and rubrics
  • Teacher implementation guides
  • Pilot support and first-year cadence

Deliverables

What you actually receive.

Every artifact is designed to be used by the people who need it — not to sit in a shared drive.

Deliverable 01

Curriculum charter

The philosophy, graduate profile, and non-negotiables that anchor every downstream decision.

Deliverable 02

Program architecture

The whole-program map — phases, strands, threads, and progression logic — with rationale documented.

Deliverable 03

Unit and lesson library

A complete library of backward-designed units and teacher-ready lesson frameworks.

Deliverable 04

Assessment blueprint

A grade-by-strand assessment map with formative and summative tools aligned to outcomes.

Deliverable 05

Teacher implementation kit

Guides, walkthroughs, and worked examples so teachers can teach the curriculum on Monday.

Sample outputs

A few of the artifacts partners have received.

Anonymized examples of the kind of work this engagement produces.

Sample

Graduate profile document

A 4–6 page articulation of what a graduate should know, do, and be — with observable indicators.

Sample

Sample unit plan

An anonymized backward-designed unit showing outcomes, evidence, and lesson arc.

Sample

Whole-program map

A single-page visual of the full program architecture across phases and strands.

Full samples are shared under NDA during discovery — never on the public site.

Frequently asked

About full design.

How long does full design take?

Typically 9–14 months for K–12; shorter for single phases. Pace is set by teacher capacity as much as design capacity.

Do we own the resulting curriculum?

Yes. All artifacts are yours; we retain no rights unless a licensing arrangement is agreed separately.

Can teachers help design it?

Strongly recommended. Curriculum built with teachers is taught with fidelity; curriculum built at teachers is not.
